“How to translate to the average consumer the amazing sensorial experience of a “beer sommelier” tasting 4 kinds of Baden Baden beer? Since experts taste beer by associating physical taste and smell sensations to elaborate visual descriptions, in a 5 month long project together with agency SUNO, we came up with 4 surrealist virtual tasting journeys in real time 3D to be done in synch with the actual drinking Baden Baden beer. During quarantine times, with bars closed or under heavy time and occupancy restrictions, it seemed much more sensible to bring Baden Baden to its audience than the other way around. It has not only been a very powerful training tool for Baden Baden’s salespeople but it has been very successful with its end customers.”
