Mollie’s Fund "You're my sunshine"
Area 23 and Mollie’s Fund have renewed a pro bono partnership to produce a unique animation aimed at raising awareness about the dangers of melanoma, the deadliest form of skin cancer. This project has welcomed the collaboration of LOBO, known for its innovative and impactful storytelling.LOBO is particularly excited about the project's vision and storyboard. The team kept a fluid 2D animation style while achieving a hyper-realistic look and feel. To accomplish this, they will utilize traditional 2D cel animation techniques, enhanced by AI technology, specifically Stable Diffusion.This collaboration aims to create a surreal and visually arresting animation that will effectively convey the critical message of melanoma awareness. Through this project, Area 23, Mollie’s Fund, and LOBO are committed to combining their expertise to highlight the importance of skin cancer prevention and early detection.
